“The trip was just about perfect. No complaints. You get what you are promised. The best service ever. The ground support was always there on time. Everyone was punctual, and the trip plans were always laid well.”
Some honeymoons come with candlelit dinners and fancy resorts. Others come with turquoise water, island-hopping, speedboats, coral reefs and beaches that look almost too perfect to be real.
For Nabajit Saha and his partner, it was the second kind.
Their Andaman honeymoon was designed around some of the islands' most beautiful coastal experiences, taking them from the historic streets of Port Blair to the beaches of Havelock and Neil Island. Over six days, they explored famous beaches, travelled between islands by ferry, took a speedboat to Elephant Beach and got plenty of opportunities to experience the clear waters up close.
Port Blair Began With History and a Sunset by the Sea

The honeymoon started in Port Blair, where the first day brought together two very different sides of Andaman.
After arriving at Veer Savarkar International Airport and checking into their hotel, Nabajit and his partner headed towards Corbyn Cove Beach. The palm-lined coastline provided their first glimpse of the tropical scenery that would define the rest of their trip.
The day then took a historical turn at Cellular Jail, also known as Kaala Paani. The former colonial prison is one of Port Blair's most important landmarks and offers a very different perspective on the islands. The couple explored the historic complex before staying on for the evening Light and Sound Show, which brings the story of the freedom struggle and Cellular Jail to life through narration, lighting and performances.
Havelock Was All About Turquoise Water
The next morning, the couple left Port Blair and boarded a ferry towards Havelock Island, officially known as Swaraj Dweep.
After checking in, they headed straight for one of the island's biggest attractions, Radhanagar Beach. Famous for its soft white sand, clear turquoise water and tropical surroundings, the beach is one of the most recognisable sights in Andaman.
But the following day took their island experience much further.
A speedboat ride brought them towards Elephant Beach, where the clear waters made it possible to see the underwater world around the island. The couple had a demo snorkelling session during the journey and could also opt for scuba diving at Neemo Reef. Elephant Beach itself offered time in the water, along with the opportunity to simply enjoy one of Havelock's most scenic coastal stretches. With the forested island behind them and clear blue water ahead, this was the kind of setting that made the honeymoon feel distinctly tropical.
An Early Morning at Kalapathar and a New Island

The next morning started early with a trip to Kalapathar Beach.
Instead of arriving in the middle of the day, Nabajit and his partner reached the beach around sunrise, giving them a chance to see the coastline in softer morning light. The beach is known for its quiet stretch of sand, turquoise waters and the contrasting dark rocks that give it its name.
After returning to the hotel and checking out, the couple continued their island-hopping journey towards Neil Island, now known as Shaheed Dweep.
At Laxmanpur Beach, they saw the famous Natural Coral Bridge, a naturally formed rock structure shaped over time by the sea. They then continued to Bharatpur Beach, where water sports provided another chance to get into the Andaman waters. The final stop was Sitapur Beach, known for its scenic coastline and early-morning views. The day gave the couple a chance to experience several different sides of Neil Island before taking the ferry back to Port Blair.
Why Nabajit’s Andaman Honeymoon Worked So Well with Thrillophilia
A honeymoon itinerary can look beautiful on paper, but island holidays come with their own logistical challenges. Ferries need to be coordinated, airport and hotel transfers have to line up, and activities such as speedboat rides and beach excursions need to happen at the right time. The itinerary was planned by Hemant Primalani, Thrillophilia’s Andaman destination expert, with the trip bringing together sightseeing, island transfers and beach experiences into one seamless holiday.
Nabajit's review specifically highlights that this side of the trip was handled well.
The couple found the ground support punctual, the plans well organised and the services consistent with what had been promised. That meant they could move between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island without having to worry about every individual transfer or connection.
Their final verdict says it best:
“The trip was just about perfect. No complaints.”
For a six-day honeymoon surrounded by some of Andaman's most beautiful beaches, that is a pretty fitting ending.
