Imagine balancing on a rushing river raft, racing quad bikes through muddy jungle tunnels, and then, just a few hours later, watching a purple sunset over a silent sea temple. Shivani Nigade and Gourav Patane flew into Bali looking for a trip of extremes- one day navigating rugged, muddy trails together, and the next watching the golden sun slide into the Indian Ocean. They wanted a 6-day escape that would challenge them by day and let them unwind completely by nightfall.
To pull off this dual-paced getaway, they worked with travel expert Lalit Dubey. He mapped out a private journey that cleverly split their stay between two entirely different worlds: the sunny, energetic beach town of Kuta and the misty, deep-green rainforests of Ubud.
The moment they stepped out of the Denpasar terminal on July 10, 2025, their private SUV was already parked and waiting. They went straight to the Swiss-Belhotel Tuban in Kuta, dropping their bags and stepping out to explore the warm local streets. With every single hotel voucher and transfer pre-arranged, they could simply breathe in the tropical air and focus on the adventures ahead.
Coastal Cliffs and Adrenaline Rushes

Their first full morning started with an early drive to Sanur Harbor, where a speed boat zipped them across the water to the rugged island of Nusa Penida. A private vehicle met them at the shore and took them to Kelingking Beach. Standing on the high cliff edge, Shivani and Gourav looked down at the famous T-Rex-shaped rock formation jutting out into the crashing white waves. They spent the day exploring the natural rock pool of Angel’s Billabong, walking over the limestone bridge at Broken Beach, and relaxing by Crystal Bay before heading back to Kuta with salt in their hair.
The next day shifted from the ocean to the dense jungles of Central Bali. They climbed onto a powerful quad bike for a 90-minute ATV trek, splashing through deep mud tracks and zooming down forest trails. Immediately after, they headed to the Ayung River for a white-water rafting trip. Pushing through swirling rapids and paddling past towering canyon waterfalls, they got a front-row seat to Bali’s wild interior.
Into the Heart of the Ubud Rainforest

On the fourth day, they packed their bags and moved deeper into the island. Their driver took them up to the cool Kintamani Highlands, where they stood in silence for ten minutes just taking in the massive view of the active volcano, Mount Batur, and its crater lake.
The final stretch of the trip brought them to the iconic Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which looks like it’s magically floating on a calm lake. Their grand finale took place at Tanah Lot Temple. Perched on a massive wave-swept rock right off the coast, the couple stood side-by-side and watched the sky turn into a fiery canvas of orange and purple as the sun dipped below the horizon.
On their last morning, their private driver picked them up right on time, ensuring a comfortable, stress-free ride to the airport for their flight back home.
Reflecting on their tropical escape, Shivani shared this wonderful review on Tripadvisor, Reviews.io and on Google Maps.

Why the Couple Chose Thrillophilia ?
Planning a vacation that combines fast boats, muddy quad-biking tracks, river rafting, and multiple hotel transfers can easily turn into a stressful juggling act. Shivani and Gourav knew what they wanted to experience, but they didn't want to spend their limited holiday time haggling with local drivers, studying maps, or worrying about missing tour timings.
The couple chose Thrillophilia because they wanted an adventure that felt completely effortless:
- Paced for Two Moods: The itinerary was intentionally designed to alternate high-adrenaline jungle sports with deeply relaxing cultural walks, ensuring they got the thrill they wanted along with the perfect amount of romance and relaxation.
- Ready-and-Waiting Rides: Whether they were landing at the airport, heading to a remote harbor, or traveling between cities, a private SUV was always lined up on time.
- An On-Ground Safety Net: Having a dedicated local team on call meant help was just a quick text away, allowing them to travel through remote areas with absolute peace of mind.
By handling the heavy lifting of trip coordination long before the flight ever took off, the team removed the usual friction of international travel. This careful planning allowed Shivani and Gourav to simply enjoy the ride without worrying about any logistical details.
