Some holidays are carefully planned. Others just stay with you. For Naresh Kumar Erothi, this 5-day trip to Dubai with his wife Naga Prasanthi and their daughter Lithiksha turned into exactly that kind of experience. Not just something captured in photos, but something they’d find themselves talking about long after they were back home.
There was excitement, of course, but also a quiet expectation. Travelling with a child meant things needed to be smooth, engaging, and comfortable at every step. After looking through a few options, Naresh went ahead with Thrillophilia's Dubai tour packages, hoping it would all come together well. As it turned out, it did more than that; everything just flowed seamlessly.
A Soft Start with Flowers and Still Waters

Landing at Abu Dhabi Airport, they didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. The private transfer was ready, and the drive to their hotel in Bur Dubai was easy and relaxed. No confusion, no delays, just a good start.
Their first outing set the tone beautifully. The Dubai Miracle Garden didn’t feel real at first. Bright flowers arranged into arches, animals, and elaborate shapes stretched out in every direction. Lithiksha was instantly drawn in, walking ahead, pointing things out, completely absorbed in it all. Watching her excitement became the highlight for Naresh and Prasanthi.
By evening, the mood shifted. At Dubai Marina, they stepped onto a dhow cruise that felt calm from the moment it began. The city lights shimmered on the water, soft music played in the background, and the gentle movement of the boat made everything feel unhurried. Over dinner, they talked, laughed, and simply enjoyed the moment.
City Views and the Rush of the Desert

The next day brought a different kind of energy. They went on a city tour that gave them a closer look at Dubai’s landmarks, where glass towers stood tall alongside glimpses of its older, cultural side. It helped them understand the city a little better.
But the real excitement came later.
The desert safari turned out to be one of those experiences you don’t quite forget. As the 4x4 drove over the dunes, the ride felt fast, unpredictable, and thrilling. Lithiksha couldn’t stop laughing as it was all new to her, and that made it even better. By evening, the desert softened into something calmer. Cultural performances, warm lights, and a BBQ dinner under the open sky created a setting that felt both lively and relaxed.
From the Sky to the Sea
Day three felt like the Dubai they had imagined.
At the Burj Khalifa, the scale of the city truly hit them. Standing on the 124th and 125th floors, looking out at the endless skyline, everything seemed quieter up there. They didn’t rush, they just stood, taking it all in.
Then came a complete shift.
Inside the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Lithiksha found her favorite part of the trip. Sharks gliding overhead, penguins waddling around, and the feeling of being surrounded by marine life kept her completely engaged. It was just as fascinating for the adults to watch the wonders of the sea.
After the aquarium, they spent the rest of the day wandering around the Dubai Mall. They explored, paused for breaks, and soaked in the lively atmosphere. Time moved quickly, but nothing felt rushed.
Slowing Down in Abu Dhabi

By day four, the journey led them to Abu Dhabi, and the shift in pace was noticeable right away. It felt calmer, less rushed, almost like the trip was giving them space to pause.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque stood out instantly. The white marble, the fine detailing, and the sheer quiet of the place made them slow down without even trying. They spent time just walking through, taking it in, not feeling the need to move quickly.
From there, they visited Emirates Palace, admiring its scale and elegance, before heading to the Heritage Village and the Dates Market. These stops brought in a more local, cultural side of the region, adding depth to the experience and making the day feel well-rounded rather than rushed.
When Everything Just Works
What Naresh appreciated most wasn’t just the places they visited, but how easily everything came together. Transfers were on time, and plans were clear. The people they interacted with were helpful and approachable.
Traveling with family in a new country can sometimes feel uncertain. Here, it didn’t. The team in Dubai was warm, responsive, and always ready to guide them. That sense of ease stayed with them throughout.
A Trip They’d Gladly Talk About Again

As they headed back home, the trip didn’t feel like it had gone by too quickly or too slowly. It felt complete. Each of them carried something different with them. For Lithiksha, it was the aquarium and the desert ride. For Prasanthi, it was the comfort and how well everything was arranged. For Naresh, it was the reassurance that he’d made the right choice.
Looking back, he would easily recommend Thrillophilia to anyone planning a similar trip. The experience was not just about visiting places in Dubai, it was about enjoying them without worry.
And sometimes, that makes all the difference.
