Aashi Verma decided to take her mother on a massive 14-day European adventure covering six beautiful countries. She planned for this trip as a gesture of gratitude for her mother, who had done so much to see her succeed in life. Spending thirteen nights in international countries and traveling together all the way from India allowed them to connect in a whole new way. And this travel story is all about that.
To make this a reality, Aashi booked their holiday through Thrillophilia. The tour was managed by our destination expert, Shubham Khandelwal, and Guest Experience Officer, Bhupeshwar Chandawat. Their main tour guide, Rahul, was incredibly well-organised and planned all daily sightseeing effortlessly. The travel arrangements, hotels, and Indian meals provided a comforting feeling, boosting Ashi’s confidence to finalise the trip.
Their epic journey started in the romantic city of Paris. They visited the massive Eiffel Tower first and explored the legendary art inside the Louvre Museum. They ended their perfect Parisian day by boarding a scenic cruise along the River Seine, watching the historic city lights gleam on the water as they chatted happily about how their life had changed over time.
Moving Through Belgium and the Netherlands

On the fourth day, the duo traveled to Brussels in Belgium. They had a great time exploring the magnificent, gold-trimmed buildings around the Grand Place, visiting the famous Mannekin Pis statue, and seeing St. Michael's Church. By afternoon, they were on their way to the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam for a cozy check-in and an evening of relaxation.
Day 5 was all about diving into the classic Dutch culture. They explored the peaceful countryside of Zaanse Schans and Marken, where they learned about traditional cheese-making, watched local artisans craft wooden clogs, and saw the historic windmills. Later, an evening city tour brought them to Dam Square and the Royal Palace, followed by a beautiful, relaxing canal cruise through Amsterdam's historic waterways.
Rhine Cascades and Alpine Wonders

In Germany, they visited the grand Cologne Cathedral, a spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site that left both of them completely amazed by its towering architecture. They spent the night in Frankfurt before heading south toward Switzerland on Day 7. On their way into Swiss territory, they traveled through the dense trees of the Black Forest and stopped at Schaffhausen to see the Rhine Falls. Standing together next to Europe's largest waterfall, feeling the cool water spray on their faces, they felt incredibly refreshed and rejuvenated.
The next two days were filled with the best of the Swiss Alps. They rode a cable car up the snow-covered Mount Titlis and braved the thrilling "Cliff Walk" suspension bridge together. The following day was spent in the lakeside paradise of Interlaken, where they relaxed by the clear water and enjoyed options to ride the high-altitude train up to Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe.
Crystal Worlds and Italian Romance

On Day 10, the mother and daughter crossed into Austria. They enjoyed a charming tram ride through the quiet city of Vaduz and visited the dazzling Swarovski Crystal World, wandering through its brilliant, glittering exhibits. They finished the day exploring Innsbruck's historic Old Town, pausing to admire the famous Golden Roof.
Italy welcomed them next. They arrived in Venice and took a traditional Vaporetto water bus to Venice Island. They spent a magical evening walking around St. Mark's Square, viewing the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge's Palace. On this leg of their journey, they also visited the great Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Square of Miracles.
The final sightseeing day took place on Day 13 in Rome and Vatican City. They went on a profound tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, looking up together at Michelangelo's world-famous frescoes. They spent the rest of the day driving past Rome's legendary historical landmarks, including the Colosseum.
This is what they wrote in their Europe trip review-
"Travel, food, hotels and overall experience was good. Aman was always available to help. Our guide, Rahul was well organised and managed everything very well. The only drawbacks were hotels being in outskirts, itinerary being more hectic leaving less space for self exploration."
Why Ashi Chose Thrillophilia
A 14-day international vacation across six countries requires highly accurate logistics, especially when traveling with parents. Aashi chose Thrillophilia because she wanted a comprehensive, pre-coordinated tour route to minimize the operational burdens of cross-border travel in Europe.
The on-ground team delivered exactly the kind of reliable structure the duo needed, keeping daily transfers, entry tickets, and guided sightseeing moving smoothly. The pre-arranged transportation and comforting routine of scheduled Indian meals offered a hassle-free environment that let them focus on the experience rather than the planning. While the overall execution was highly professional, the journey also provided valuable insights for future route design. We noted from the review that moving the hotel accommodations closer to central urban hubs and adjusting the density of the daily schedule would create a more balanced pacing. This would also offer travellers a bit more breathing room and greater flexibility for independent city exploration. Taking these notes, we were keen on making our itinerary more optimised so that there remains no room for complaints.
