For Tridip Chakraborty and his family, Singapore was supposed to be a holiday filled with sightseeing, family time and a few exciting experiences along the way. What they got was something much more lively.

Their five days moved from the mysterious world of nocturnal wildlife to futuristic gardens, sky-high city views, movie-inspired adventures and a colourful evening on Sentosa Island. With a child along, there was always something exciting waiting around the corner, and every day brought a completely different flavour of Singapore.

What made it even better was knowing that the family had a team behind them throughout the journey, making sure they could simply enjoy the holiday.

Their Singapore Holiday Started After Dark

Most family holidays begin with a relaxed first evening.

Tridip's began with a Night Safari.

As darkness settled over Singapore, the family entered a completely different side of the city. Instead of skyscrapers and busy roads, they found themselves surrounded by the sounds and shadows of nocturnal wildlife.

The safari took them through seven geographical zones, where more than 2,500 nocturnal animals could be seen in environments inspired by different parts of the world. The tram ride made it easy for the family to explore the park together, while the darkness added just enough mystery to make the experience feel different from a regular zoo visit.

It was a particularly fun way to begin a family holiday because Singapore had already managed to surprise them before their first full day had even started.

And the next morning, the animals disappeared, and the skyline took over.

Singapore Looked Completely Different From Above

Tridip admired the iconic Marina Bay Sands skyline during his Singapore trip

The family spent their second day discovering the city, but two experiences gave them a very different perspective of Singapore.

First came the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. High above the city, the family could look across Singapore's famous skyline and see how dramatically the landscape changed from one side to another. The towers, waterfront and greenery stretched out beneath them, turning the city into one enormous photograph.

Then came Gardens by the Bay. Walking into the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest felt like stepping away from the city altogether. Giant indoor landscapes, colourful flowers and the dramatic waterfall inside the Cloud Forest created a completely different atmosphere.

And then there were the Supertrees. Standing beneath the towering structures at Supertree Grove, the family got one of those quintessential Singapore moments where the city feels futuristic without losing its connection with nature.

For Tridip and his family, it was one of the days that showed just how much variety Singapore could pack into a single destination. But if there was one place where the child in the family was guaranteed to have a great time, it was still waiting for them.

Universal Studios Was Where the Family Really Let Loose

The next day was all about Universal Studios Singapore. There was no need for a packed sightseeing schedule or a long list of landmarks. The family had an entire day to enjoy the theme park, explore its movie-inspired zones and experience the rides and attractions at their own pace.

This was the kind of day where the itinerary mattered less than the atmosphere. There were rides to get excited about, themed streets to explore and plenty of opportunities for the family to laugh together. After two days of wildlife and sightseeing, Universal Studios gave them the chance to simply switch off and have fun.

And Singapore wasn't finished with family entertainment yet.

Sentosa Gave Them a Completely Different Kind of Evening

Their next adventure began with a cable car ride towards Sentosa Island.

As the cabin moved above the landscape, the family could see the island opening up beneath them. The ride itself became part of the experience, giving them a bird's-eye view before they even reached their destination. On Sentosa, they explored Madame Tussauds before ending the day with Wings of Time.

As evening arrived, the atmosphere changed again. Lights, music, water and storytelling came together in the open air, creating a colourful finale to their day on the island. The following morning, they had one last family outing at Singapore Zoo before heading towards the airport. After five days, they had experienced Singapore in almost every mood imaginable.

Why Tridip chose Thrillophilia for his Singapore Experience

For Tridip, though, one of the biggest highlights of the trip began long before the family reached Singapore.

He had several ideas for the holiday and wanted the itinerary to feel attractive and personal to his family. Aashi Bhadauria (Thrillophilia's Singapore Destination Expert) worked with him during the planning stage and made an effort to accommodate each of his requests. The support continued through the visa process, where Pooja (Thrillophilia’s Visa Team) stayed in regular contact and explained how the services would work. The family was also introduced to the ground support team before the trip, so they knew exactly who to reach out to once they arrived.

That reassurance became especially valuable while travelling with family in another country. Tridip explained it perfectly in his review:

“I never felt that I was left alone for a single day in an unknown country.”

That feeling of having someone available in the background allowed the family to concentrate on what they had actually come to Singapore for, enjoying themselves.

And after returning home, Tridip had nothing but praise for the people who made it happen:

“Kudos to the entire team of Thrillophilia for making this tour a memorable one. Will definitely come back to you all for any domestic/international tour requirement. A big shout-out to you all.”

For Tridip, his wife and their child, Singapore turned out to be the kind of family holiday where there was always another surprise waiting. One night they were surrounded by wildlife, another day they were above the city, then suddenly they were inside a movie-themed world or watching lights dance across the water at Sentosa.

Five days. Completely different experiences. One very happy family.
