Shrabanti was surprised.
This wasn't the first time she booked via a travel partner for a trip, but this definitely was the first time she saw this level of attention to detail going into planning the long-awaited New Zealand trip with her husband, Neelabh.
Spending nine days in an entirely foreign land where none of them had travelled before brought in the nervousness all first-time international travellers face. But thanks to Thrillophilia's Shivani, that was something they didn't have to deal with for long.
All her queries were answered prior to her journey, with a detailed briefing preparing them for each aspect of the trip. By the time her nine days in New Zealand were over and she was back home with one final call from the team ensuring her safe return, she realised all her concerns that went along in her luggage dispersed from the very first POC contact at the airport.
These details didn't go unnoticed in Shrabanti's New Zealand review on Quora.
"We had a perfectly planned trip to New Zealand via thrillophilia. All the stays were excellent and everything was planned and booked perfectly."

The Team That Made Her Stop Worrying
Before they even packed their bags, Shrabanti reached out to Thrillophilia with her concerns. The team walked her through every detail, transfers, timings, activity bookings, and what each day would look like on the ground. It was not a rushed conversation but one that took its time with her.
In Shrabanti's New Zealand review on Quora, she highlighted, "I was a bit concerned as this was my first abroad trip but honestly we didn't face any issues with anything. The car pickup/drop, airport transfers, activities were well planned."
Everything that could be answered was, and everything that she worried about was addressed. Before the couple even arrived in Auckland and realised that there would be a private SUV waiting for them at the airport, her background buzz of worry had already begun to quiet down.
That first evening in Auckland, they checked into a comfortable suite with breakfast included and felt like the trip was exhaling. It was a small thing, but after a long-haul flight to a new country, a room that is exactly as promised is quietly everything.
The Day Hobbiton Made Them Forget to Be Tourists

Shrabanti and Neelabh paused at the famed red door of Hobbiton, situated between Matamata and Rotorua, laughing a little and confused at the same time, thinking whether they were actually in New Zealand or had somehow landed themselves in a fictional world. Neelabh recounted this memory as his favourite from the entire trip, one he'll remember and laugh quietly to.
Waitomo Glowworm Caves arrived on the very same day to offer an entirely new experience. Gliding around the cave with absolute silence and millions of glowworms lighting up the ceiling above is something that lingers just because there isn’t any photo in the world that can capture that experience.
The next two days were spent at Rotorua. The geothermal landscapes and the haka performance offered by Te Puia were much more impressive than the travellers could have ever expected. The Redwoods Treewalk later that day offered the kind of beauty that comes with walking across suspended pathways between towering trees as the sky turned dark.
Day Three already offered them more than what they had expected from their trip.
Nobody Warned Them How Much They Would Love Queenstown

Queenstown had its own energy from the moment they landed. Lake Wakatipu, the mountains, and the Milford Sound Cruise topped it off with the very touch of perfection that they needed to let the relaxation seep into them before continuing further.
Mitre Peak rising out of the water, Stirling Falls cutting down the cliffside, and a picnic lunch on the boat with that very landscape all around them. For long stretches neither of them said much, and that silence was the comfortable kind that only happens when both people are genuinely glad to be exactly where they are.
The next day brought the Skyline Gondola, three luge rides that got competitively fast yet felt safe, and the Shotover Jet Boat, thirty minutes of sharp turns through canyon walls that they spent half-screaming through and immediately wanted to do again.
The Night the Sky Stopped Them Mid-Sentence
Lake Tekapo and the Aoraki Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve stargazing tour were not something either of them had fully prepared for emotionally. Standing under one of the clearest skies in the world, looking at galaxies through a telescope while an expert quietly explained what they were seeing, is a memory they won't forget, even if they didn't have photographs to look back on
It is the kind of moment that does not need any added meaning because it already has enough. Christchurch and the International Antarctic Centre wrapped the trip up on a high note before the drive to the airport and the flight home with a content heart.
Shrabanti's Promise on Planning the Next One and Thrillophilia's Contribution
"Also the team catered all our concerns with utmost priority. Thank you thrillophilia for such a great experience. Looking forward to make more booking with you."
Shrabanti's New Zealand review on Quora numerously highlighted how secure the trip felt because all her concerns were duly addressed early on. This was a direct result of curating trips around a traveller, not the destination, with an intensive planning and executing team working relentlessly to make sure the couple experienced New Zealand in the best way possible.
Their review ended with a promise, a promise to entrust their future trips with Thrillophilia, and that's all that matters for our team.
