For the Ahujas, their European holiday was an opportunity to experience some of the continent’s most iconic destinations in one memorable journey.

From the alpine landscapes of Switzerland and the charming villages of the Netherlands to the historic cities of Germany, Belgium and France, the 10-day itinerary brought together a mix of sightseeing, scenic experiences and leisure time.

With Thrillophilia handling the planning and arrangements, the family could focus on enjoying each destination along the way.

Starting the European Adventure in Zurich

The journey began in Zurich, where the family was welcomed and transferred to their hotel. With the first day kept at leisure, they had time to settle in and experience the city at their own pace.

They could explore the historic St. Peter’s Church, stroll along the famous Bahnhofstrasse, or simply enjoy the picturesque surroundings of Lake Zurich before heading back to the hotel.

Experiencing the Swiss Alps at Mount Titlis

Manan’s Paris moments, filled with smiles and memories

The next day brought one of the most exciting experiences of the trip: Mount Titlis.

The family travelled towards the mountains and experienced the rotating cable car, offering spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding Alps. They also explored the famous Titlis Cliff Walk, adding an adventurous touch to their Swiss experience.

The day continued with an orientation tour of Lucerne, where they visited the iconic Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge.

A Day Amid the Beauty of Interlaken

The family then headed to Interlaken, surrounded by some of Switzerland’s most beautiful alpine scenery.

With time to explore independently, they could discover Lake Thun, visit the panoramic viewpoint of Harder Kulm, or opt for an excursion to Jungfraujoch.

It was a slower-paced day that allowed them to enjoy Switzerland beyond the major sightseeing stops.

From Rhine Falls to Frankfurt

The journey continued towards Germany, with a memorable stop at Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen.

The powerful waterfall and surrounding scenery offered a refreshing change from the city's sightseeing experiences. After exploring Rhine Falls, the family continued their journey through the scenic Black Forest before reaching Frankfurt.

Discovering Cologne on the Way to Amsterdam

The next stop was Cologne, where the family visited the magnificent Cologne Cathedral.

The cathedral's striking Gothic architecture and towering twin spires made it one of the most memorable landmarks of the journey. After exploring Cologne, they continued towards Amsterdam.

Exploring Amsterdam’s Villages & Canals

Amsterdam brought another side of Europe to the trip.

The family began with a visit to Zaanse Schans and Marken, exploring traditional Dutch landscapes, historic windmills and charming village surroundings.

They then returned to Amsterdam for a city tour covering Dam Square, the Royal Palace and the National Monument.

The day ended with an Amsterdam canal cruise, giving the family a chance to unwind while taking in the city's famous waterways and architecture.

A Brussels Stop Before Paris

On their way to Paris, the family stopped in Brussels for a sightseeing tour.

They explored some of the city's most recognisable landmarks, including Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Brussels Town Hall, St. Michael and St. Gudule Cathedral and the Atomium.

After experiencing Brussels, they continued their journey towards Paris—the final destination of their European adventure.

The Magic of Paris

Paris brought some of the biggest highlights of the trip.

The family explored the city's famous attractions, including Les Invalides, Place de la Concorde, Pont Alexandre III, Palais Garnier, the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées.

They then visited the Eiffel Tower, enjoying panoramic views of Paris from the second level.

To round off their sightseeing, they took a Seine River cruise, offering a beautiful view of Paris from the water.

A Leisure Day to Enjoy Paris

After days of travelling across Europe, the family had their final full day at leisure in Paris.

With no fixed sightseeing schedule, they could explore the city independently or choose additional experiences such as Disneyland Paris.

It gave them the freedom to enjoy Paris at their own pace before their journey came to an end.

A European Journey to Remember

After travelling through five countries and experiencing everything from the Swiss Alps and Rhine Falls to Amsterdam's canals and Paris's iconic landmarks, the Ahuja family's European holiday came to a memorable close.

Their experience earned a 5-star review, with Sanjeev Ahuja sharing: “Everything was really great! The whole itinerary was well executed. Saw many amazing spots and loved all the places including Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany and France.”

From spectacular mountain landscapes to historic European cities, the journey brought together some of the continent's most memorable experiences in one carefully planned holiday.
