For the Khatri family, Singapore was a holiday designed to bring together something for everyone. Over five days, the family moved from Singapore’s futuristic skyline and iconic landmarks to immersive attractions, wildlife experiences and the excitement of Sentosa. With the major stays, transfers and experiences arranged in advance, the trip allowed the family to spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying Singapore together.
Singapore Welcomed the Family With Its Modern Charm
Their Singapore adventure began with a smooth arrival at Changi Airport, followed by a private transfer to V Hotel Lavender, where the family would stay throughout the trip. Having one base for all four nights made it easier for the group to settle in and explore without repeatedly changing hotels.
The first full day introduced them to Singapore’s most recognisable sights. Their city tour took them through places such as Merlion Park, Chinatown, the Singapore Flyer, Helix Bridge, Marina Bay and the Civic District. The ArtScience Museum added another dimension to the day, with the family exploring its immersive Future World experience.
The evening then took them to Gardens by the Bay, where the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, Jurassic World experience and Garden Rhapsody brought together Singapore’s love for technology, nature and spectacle.
A Day of Thrills at Universal Studios and Sentosa

The next day shifted the mood from sightseeing to entertainment.
The family spent the day at Universal Studios Singapore, with a full-day admission allowing them to explore its themed zones, attractions and rides at their own pace. For a family travelling with a young child, the combination of entertainment and family-friendly experiences made this one of the more playful days of the holiday.
As the day turned into evening, the group headed to Sentosa for Wings of Time. The outdoor show, with its combination of storytelling, lights and visual effects, provided a fitting way to end a packed day of entertainment.
Meeting Singapore’s Wildlife
Singapore’s wildlife experiences became the focus of the following day.
The family began at Singapore Zoo, followed by River Wonders, where they could discover wildlife and ecosystems from around the world. The River Wonders boat ride added a more relaxed element to the afternoon before the family returned to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve for one of Singapore’s most distinctive attractions—the Night Safari.
Exploring the reserve after sunset offered a completely different perspective. Instead of seeing animals in a conventional daytime setting, the family experienced the nocturnal environment through the safari and tram ride.
It was another example of how the itinerary moved beyond the standard city sightseeing experience and gave the family a chance to experience several sides of Singapore.
A Holiday Built Around Convenience and Family Time

What made the trip particularly convenient was that the major experiences were pre-arranged. Accommodation, airport transfers, sightseeing, attraction tickets and local transportation were organised as part of the package, allowing the family to move between different parts of Singapore without having to arrange each experience independently.
The family also appreciated the hotel facilities and specifically highlighted the availability of Indian food, which made their stay more comfortable.
There was one area they felt could be improved: the guidance for some self-transfers. Although the agent shared videos explaining the routes, the family found a few of them difficult to follow and faced some confusion while reaching one or two locations. Clearer, more detailed instructions could make these transfers easier for future travellers.
A Smooth Singapore Experience With Thrillophilia
By the end of the five-day journey, the Khatri family had experienced Singapore through its landmarks, attractions, entertainment and wildlife. The pre-booked hotels, transfers and activities made the trip convenient, while the well-planned itinerary allowed the family to explore more without the stress of arranging everything independently.
Reflecting on the experience, Yugal Kishor Khatri shared: "Wonderful and smooth experience with just a small area for improvement! I had an amazing time on this trip! The overall experience was wonderful. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the biggest plus point for us was the availability of Indian food, which made the stay very comfortable. Everything was pre-booked perfectly, which made the entire journey incredibly smooth and hassle-free. The only area that needs improvement is the self-transfer guidance. The agent sent videos to help us navigate the routes between places, but some of them were not very clear or easy to follow. Because of this, we faced difficulties reaching one or two locations. If those instructional videos could be made more detailed and clear, it would make things much easier for future travellers. Apart from this minor issue, everything else was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!"
Overall, Thrillophilia helped bring together the family's accommodation, transfers and experiences into one seamless holiday, giving them the freedom to focus on enjoying Singapore together while leaving most of the trip planning and coordination taken care of.
