For Rajkumar Rangaraj, Greeshma Sivasankar, and their 13-year-old son Sai Charan, a Singapore holiday had to work for all three. The parents wanted a comfortable, hassle-free international getaway, while Sai Charan needed experiences that kept the trip exciting. Thrillophilia’s customised itinerary brought these needs together by handling the practical details while building the sightseeing around varied family experiences.
Their 5-night stay at Mercure Singapore Tyrwhitt gave the family a comfortable base, while airport transfers, visas, attraction tickets and scheduled transport were arranged in advance. This meant they could arrive, settle in and begin exploring without coordinating the essentials.
As Rajkumar later put it, “Our recent trip to Singapore was booked through Thrillophilia and was an absolute delight!”
An Easy Arrival, Followed by an Exciting First Evening

The planning began when the family landed at Singapore Changi Airport on 27 September 2024. A pre-arranged Toyota Commuter transfer took them directly to their hotel, removing the need to figure out local transport with luggage after an international flight.
After resting, the family headed to the Singapore Night Safari. This was an effective first-day experience for Sai Charan: instead of conventional sightseeing, the itinerary introduced him to Singapore through wildlife, a 45-minute tram ride and nocturnal animal encounters.
For Rajkumar and Greeshma, the pre-arranged transfer and included tickets meant the evening remained about enjoying the experience rather than managing bookings.
From Singapore’s Icons to Its Futuristic Side
Day two changed the pace. The family explored Singapore’s recognisable landmarks, including Merlion Park, Helix Bridge, Marina Bay and Raffles Hotel, before moving to Gardens by the Bay.
The combination gave the parents Singapore’s classic cityscape while giving Sai Charan a more immersive attraction to explore. With transfers and admissions organised beforehand, the family did not have to spend sightseeing time figuring out transport or ticketing.
This practical coordination became a defining feature of their holiday. As their review notes, “From the moment we landed, everything was seamlessly organized.”
Sentosa: A Day Where Everyone Had Something to Enjoy
Day three brought a different kind of family experience with Sentosa Island. A pre-arranged Toyota Commuter transfer took them from the hotel to Mount Faber before they boarded the Singapore Cable Car, avoiding the need to coordinate separate transport.
The cable car offered the parents panoramic harbour views, while Madame Tussauds and the Singapore Oceanarium added interactive experiences suited to Sai Charan.
The evening was reserved for Wings of Time, combining water, laser and fire effects. With the return transfer already arranged from Sentosa Coach Park to their hotel, there was no need to worry about getting back after the show.
The mix of sightseeing, entertainment and wildlife meant the day never depended on one family member’s interests alone, while parents could enjoy it without managing the logistics.
A Full Day Built Around the Youngest Traveller

If Sentosa offered variety, 30 September was the day designed around pure excitement. The family spent eight hours at Universal Studios Singapore, with admission tickets included and a pre-arranged transfer from their hotel.
For Sai Charan, this was arguably the most age-appropriate day, with themed zones, roller coasters, live performances and movie characters creating a full-day experience. For Rajkumar and Greeshma, transport and admission were settled beforehand, eliminating last-minute ticketing.
Keeping the entire day for the park also gave Sai Charan freedom to enjoy it without the family constantly watching the clock.
It was this attention to both the experience and the effort behind it that reinforced the family’s verdict: “The convenience of booking through Thrillophilia, coupled with their excellent customer service” helped make the holiday genuinely hassle-free.
A Pause Built Into the Itinerary
After several experience-heavy days, the fifth day was intentionally left open. Instead of another fixed sightseeing schedule, Thrillophilia gave the family a leisure day to decide how they wanted to spend their final full day.
Rajkumar and Greeshma could slow down after consecutive sightseeing days, while Sai Charan had the freedom to shop, relax or enjoy the hotel at his own pace. Leaving this day unscheduled also meant the family did not have to rush between attractions.
How Thrillophilia’s On-Trip Support Kept Every Detail Covered
On 2 October, the trip concluded with the same emphasis on convenience. With the departure transfer arranged in advance, the family could check out of Mercure Singapore Tyrwhitt and head to the airport without arranging transport independently.
The family also had a dependable point of contact when assistance was needed. Rajkumar specifically appreciated "Mr Nakul and the team of @thrillophilia”, noting how their help added to the convenience of the experience.
For the family, this attention to planning and support meant they could focus on Singapore rather than its logistics. As Rajkumar summed it up, “We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free and exciting travel experience.”
