A first international trip with a young child is not something most people can manage. There is a lot that can go wrong, and the chances feel higher when you are doing it for the first time in a country where you do not speak the language.
Sumit Kushwaha, his wife Rupa, and their four-year-old son Rudransh did it anyway, booked through Thrillophilia, and came back saying everything was excellent. Every single part of it.
It started with a friend's recommendation. "A friend told me about Thrillophilia," Sumit said. "When I contacted them, the travel agent who was assigned to plan my trip was Rohan. The way Rohan explained the trip to me, literally just from his explanation, I was clear that I had to go on this trip." That is a specific kind of clarity that only comes when someone is genuinely good at what they do.
A beautiful Thailand escape with Sumit & Rupa, filled with family fun and cherished moments
Landing in Pattaya
They flew into Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on the 9th of May and were transferred by private SUV to GLOW Pattaya, their base for the first two nights. Pattaya is the right place to start a Thailand trip with a young child. The beaches are accessible, the hotel strip is well connected, and the energy of the city is lively without being overwhelming. The first evening was theirs to settle in and explore the area around the hotel, which Sumit noted was very well located. "The hotels that were booked for us were in such good locations where the market was also very close by, and travel was also very well supported."
Coral Island: The Right Kind of Day for a Family

Day two was the Coral Island tour by speedboat with lunch included, and this was the kind of day that works perfectly for a family with a small child. The island is calm, the water is clear and shallow in parts, and six hours out on the Gulf of Thailand with lunch in the middle is manageable and genuinely enjoyable for everyone regardless of age. Rudransh, at four years old, had the sea and the sand and the boat ride, which is about as good as a day gets when you are four.
Bangkok: The Dinner Cruise, Safari World, and the City

On day three, they moved to Bangkok, transferred by private SUV to Royal Benja Hotel, and the city introduced itself that same evening with the Chao Phraya Princess Dinner Cruise. Floating down the river at night with Wat Arun lit up on one bank and the Grand Palace visible further along, dinner on board, the city skyline reflecting in the water. For a family experiencing Bangkok for the first time, this is the best possible introduction.
Day four was Safari World, eight hours covering the drive-through safari park in the morning and the Marine Park shows in the afternoon, with lunch included in between. For a four-year-old, giraffes appearing outside the window of the bus, dolphin shows, bird performances, and the general spectacle of Safari World is the kind of day that takes weeks to fully process. The adults were not complaining either.
Day five was a free day for shopping and exploring Bangkok independently, which after three packed days was exactly the right call. Chatuchak Weekend Market, Asiatique, the local streets around the hotel. Bangkok rewards the days when you have no fixed plan and just walk.
Why Thrillophilia
Sumit was very clear about what made the difference throughout. "The Thrillophilia team supported us a lot. If I talk about rating, I would give Thrillophilia the highest rating of 10 out of 10. Because we never had any problem anywhere. Actually, a problem would have happened if nobody was following up with us. But we were followed up at every point and our entire trip, everything was excellent."
And then there was Rohan. "Rohan was the kind of person who literally made it clear from just his explanation that I had to go on this trip." Throughout the six days, Rohan was available at every point, whether it was a quick question, a local coordination, or just checking in to make sure the family was comfortable. For a family on their first international trip in a country where they do not speak the language, that kind of consistent on-ground presence is everything.
Sumit's full written review says it all:
"An Unforgettable First International Trip! Highly Recommended. We recently booked our very first international vacation through Thrillophilia, and it was an absolutely amazing experience for me, my wife, and my son. Planning a first trip abroad can feel overwhelming, but Thrillophilia made it entirely seamless and stress-free. The itineraries provided were top-notch and perfectly curated for a family. What truly set this experience apart was their exceptional on-ground staff support in a foreign country. We felt completely safe and taken care of at every step. A special, heartfelt shoutout to Rohan, who was our guiding light throughout the journey. Rohan provided incredible guidance at every single point. Whether it was a quick query, a local coordination, or just checking in to see if my family was comfortable, he was always there. His proactive support and dedication made a massive difference to our holiday. If you are planning a family holiday, especially your first international one, Thrillophilia is highly recommended. Kudos to the team and Rohan for making our family memories so special!"
