This wasn’t Tushar’s first trip with Thrillophilia. This is why, unlike the first time, he made the booking call with confidence and a sense of calm. With his previous experience, he was well aware of the team’s logistical coordination and traveller support, which they maintained throughout the trip.
What remained was him planning the best route to explore Bali with Simran with an itinerary that didn’t leave them physically exhausted by the end of the day. Himanshee, their destination expert, made it a point to map their route before anything else. After a series of questions outlining what kind of trip Tushar had in mind, the preparation for their departure logistics began.
Through the phases of availability checks, experience slot booking, and visa assistance, Tushar was already sure about the trip’s success. After 8 days in Bali, Tushar’s Bali review on Reddit started with a simple sentence of satisfaction.
“Another truly memorable experience with Thrillophilia!”
An Immersive Start in Bali's Cultural Heart
After a comfortable private transfer from Ngurah Rai Airport, they settled into Ubud and spent the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the peaceful surroundings that make the region one of Bali's most loved destinations. Starting the trip this way allowed them to unwind after their journey and prepare for the experiences that followed.
Their exploration of central Bali began with a private sightseeing tour that introduced them to some of the island’s most iconic cultural and natural attractions. From the dramatic cascading Tegenungan Waterfall to the sacred Tirta Empul Temple, every stop offered a deeper understanding of Balinese traditions.
Having travelled with Thrillophilia before, Tushar had expected this familiar smoothness, but what he didn’t realise was how adapted it felt to Bali's own rhythm. The pace was relaxing, yet all their arrivals and departures were timely and unwavering from their schedule. By the end of the second day, Tushar knew he had made the right choice yet again.
Their time in Ubud came to an end with a thrilling 90-minute ATV ride through muddy tracks, tropical forests, and village trails before heading to the Ayung River for a white-water rafting experience. Navigating through dramatic river gorges added an exciting element to their trip, while the complimentary lunch right after offered the perfect opportunity to relax, and Tushar and Simran wasted no time in seizing it before retiring back to their hotels.
Temples, Highlands, and Bali's Most Iconic Landscapes

The next two days took Tushar and Simran across some of Bali's most scenic and culturally significant regions. Their East Bali tour began with a visit to the famous Lempuyang Temple, home to the renowned “Gates of Heaven” that frame Mount Agung on clear days. After covering Tirta Gangga Water Palace and Lahangan Sweet at a slow pace that let them take in the quieter eastern countryside, their perspective of Bali extended beyond just its beaches.
The following day was equally diverse, combining mountain scenery, cultural landmarks, and a memorable coastal sunset. After making their first stop at the Handara Gate, they continued onwards to the lakeside Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which appeared to be floating on the calm waters of Lake Beratan. Their day ended with a visit to the Tanah Lot Temple, where they watched the sun wash everything in a golden hue before setting behind the centuries-old sea temple.
Having experienced Bali’s natural diversity over the last two days, Tushar’s Bali review on Reddit highlighted how moving the landscapes of Bali felt for him, changing the very vision he had in his mind, for the better.
“Exploring the breathtaking islands of Indonesia was an absolute delight—the pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush, vibrant greenery created a perfect escape into nature’s beauty. Every moment felt refreshing and enriching, making the trip not just enjoyable but unforgettable.”

Ocean Adventures and the Perfect Island Finale

Their last two days in Bali began with a day full of waterside activities and leisure time. With a comfortable transfer to Tanjung Banoa Beach, they first took up parasailing, followed by jet skiing and a leisurely banana boat ride across the calm waters of Bali’s southern coast. Holding the thrilling momentum of the water activities, their day guided them to the cliff-top Uluwatu Temple, one of the island’s most sacred sea temples.
As the sun dipped into the Indian Ocean, they watched the captivating Kecak Fire Dance, a traditional Balinese performance that brought mythology, music, and the spectacular coastal setting together in an unforgettable evening.
Their final full day was dedicated to exploring the spectacular island of Nusa Penida. After a speedboat ride from Bali, they visited the island's famous western landmarks, including the dramatic cliffs of Kelingking Beach, the natural sea arch at Broken Beach, and the crystal-clear rock pools of Angel's Billabong. To conclude their journey, the couple unwound with a two-hour traditional Balinese massage, ending their trip on a deeply relaxing note after a week filled with culture, adventure, and some of Indonesia's most breathtaking landscapes.
Tushar’s Review and Thrillophilia's Management

“They went above and beyond in delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every inclusion promised was thoughtfully arranged and executed without any hassle. The entire journey was seamless and well-organised, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience.”
Tushar’s Bali review on Reddit only had a few remarks on the team’s itinerary execution on the trip, but all were marked with a tone of expectation that had been duly matched. All inclusions were smoothly executed, every logistic was prepared and accounted for in advance, and most importantly, a strongly coordinated support team had Tushar's and Simran’s back throughout the trip.
And that was all that mattered to him.
