Although it was Kunal’s first time travelling with Thrillophilia, he was already aware of the nature of their service. His friends had done multiple tours with them, and Kunal himself had already referred to multiple traveller accounts who had shared their experience with the team. So choosing them for his 9-day Italy trip was the easy step.
Right off the bat, Kunal specified he wanted a hassle-free journey with pre-booked amenities so that nothing was left for the last minute. He had previously done trips by himself and knew how disrupting last-minute details could be and wanted none of that.
Divya and Pankaj, from the planning and coordinating team, listened to it all.
What resulted was a comfortably paced, comprehensive tour that covered the entirety of Italy with steadily arranged logistics and a consistently followed coordination which ensured every trip aspect was handled before it became prominent, and it was everything Kunal had expected and more.
Discovering the Timeless Wonders of Rome

Kunal and his two fellow travellers began their Italian adventure by checking into The Republic, Rome, a centrally located base that made exploring the Eternal City both convenient and comfortable.
After settling in, they spent their first evening wandering through Rome's historic centre, climbing the iconic Spanish Steps before making their way to the magnificent Trevi Fountain. Admiring its intricate Baroque sculptures and joining the tradition of tossing a coin into the fountain made for a memorable introduction to the city, while the lively piazzas and charming streets offered their first taste of authentic Roman life.
The second day was intentionally relaxed, allowing the group to discover Rome at their own pace. Making good use of the Roma Pass, pre-arranged by the team, they explored the city's historic neighbourhoods, revisited the elegant Spanish Steps, and spent more time around the Trevi Fountain, appreciating its architectural grandeur in daylight. The leisurely pace gave them the chance to enjoy Rome's cafés, vibrant streets, and timeless atmosphere, proving that some of the city's greatest experiences come simply from walking through its centuries-old lanes.
Their last day in Rome was brought to an eventual conclusion with a guided exploration of its most celebrated monuments. With the skip-the-line tickets already arranged in advance by the team, they entered the Colosseum and learnt about its remarkable engineering, gladiatorial contests, and role in Roman society.
Kunal had always been fascinated by Roman history. But seeing the still-preserved structures, their architecture, the carving, and their very presence in real life felt like achieving a milestone for Kunal, and he was glad he had the team with him to guide him further into the experience.
Through the Heart of Tuscany to the Canals of Venice
After their stay in Rome, Kunal and his companions travelled by train to Florence and checked into NH Firenze, their base for exploring the birthplace of the Renaissance. They spent the afternoon discovering landmarks such as the magnificent Florence Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the Opera Museum before venturing into the Tuscan countryside the following day.
The excursion took them to the mediaeval hill town of Monteriggioni, the historic streets of Siena, and the UNESCO-listed town of San Gimignano, with a stop to sample regional Chianti wines, of which Kunal ensured to get a few bottles.
Throughout the journey, with each of its multiple legs, neither Kunal nor his companions felt overwhelmed for a moment. The pace felt as if moulded to his preferences, the accommodations were comfortable with respectful and kind staff, and the transfers were always on time with chauffeurs who navigated expertly through the traffic. These were the inclusions that felt personal, and Kunal soon realised he had long abandoned any sense of apprehension that he had brought along with him in the beginning.
Island Traditions, Milan's Elegance, and a Scenic Farewell

Their next phase started in Venice, after checking into Kosher House Giardino Dei Melograni, and soon followed with gliding through its famous canals on a traditional gondola ride before exploring the lively St Mark's Square.
On Murano, they witnessed the centuries-old tradition of glassmaking, learning how the island's master craftsmen perfected an art so prized that they were once forbidden from leaving the island. Burano offered a completely different experience, with its brightly coloured fishermen's houses, quiet canals, and charming streets reflecting the slower pace of Venetian island life.
Their Italian holiday concluded with a memorable excursion to the breathtaking Lake Como region. Travelling to the elegant lakeside town of Bellagio, they enjoyed a private boat cruise across the crystal-clear waters, taking in picturesque villas, mountain landscapes, and the beautifully manicured gardens of Villa Olmo.
Kunal’s Review and Thrillophilia’s Consistent Presence
Kunal’s review on Thrillophilia’s platform wasn’t very long, but it mentioned the two people, who, despite being in the backgrounds, were the backbone of it all.
“Thanks a lot to Divya from sales team with whom I started interaction, shared my requirements, she had very less time to plan but she accommodated best possible options for me Thanks. to Pankaj from operations who ensured all this are executed on ground and he kept checking if things are going as plan and responded to queries I had any. Thanks a lot all who worked in background to make this trip arrangements for me.”
Ever since highlighting his preferences, Kunal had watched Divya and Pankaj relentlessly putting together every trip logistics piece by piece, ensuring to not leave anything unturned, and that was exactly what Kunal needed for his experience.
The team’s seamless coordination which never faltered throughout the nine days was something he’d hold close to his heart for years to come, and that alone made all the effort worth it.
