For Jitendra Rane, Rashmi Rane, and Eshita, Japan made a memorable first impression from the moment they landed at Narita Airport. A private transfer to Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo ensured they could settle in comfortably after their international flight before easing into the rhythm of one of the world's most dynamic cities. 

Instead of beginning with a packed schedule, the first day was intentionally left flexible, giving the family the opportunity to unwind or explore nearby attractions such as Yoyogi Park, Ginza, or the waterfront around Rainbow Bridge at their own pace. It was a thoughtful start that reflected the careful planning they had appreciated while preparing for the trip with Tushar, who had already explained the day’s briefing to them after they had landed.

With the major attractions covered over the past few days, the final day in Tokyo allowed the family to experience the city more personally. Rather than rushing through another guided itinerary, they explored at their own pace, choosing from museums, gardens, shopping districts, or cultural performances based on their interests. This balance between structured touring and independent exploration gave them the freedom to discover Tokyo beyond its famous landmarks. 

Hiroshima's Legacy & Miyajima's Timeless Charm 

Leaving Tokyo behind, the Rane family boarded the Shinkansen and arrived in Hiroshima with the hotel staff at the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima already ready to welcome them. The relaxed first day gave them time to settle in and explore the city at their own pace, with options like Hiroshima Castle or the tranquil Shukkeien Garden, making the transition from Tokyo both comfortable and unhurried. 

Later, at the Mirajima island, after which their Hiroshima days would be concluded, the renowned Itsukushima Shrine and its famous floating torii gate revealed an entirely new side of Japan. It revealed the natural beauty and centuries-old spiritual heritage, which, combined with the already well-coordinated sightseeing, seamless transfers, and attentive on-trip support, immersed the family into the rhythm of Japan entirely.

Japan's Cultural Heartland & Osaka's Urban Energy 

For their last leg in Japan, the family arrived at Osaka via another smooth Shinkansen journey and checked into the Courtyard by Mariott, whose convenient location made exploring the Kansai region effortless. The first relaxed evening gave them time to settle in before discovering Japan’s cultural heartland the next day. 

Having spent almost a week in Japan, Jitendra realised the amount of attention to detail that went into ensuring a smooth journey for him and his family. The carefully coordinated tour allowed the family to experience multiple iconic destinations without the complexities of planning intercity travel themselves. 

Back in Osaka, a guided walking tour introduced them to the city's contrasting personalities, from the nostalgic streets of Shinsekai and the lantern-lit alleys of Hozenji Yokocho to the vibrant neon atmosphere of Dotonbori. Their final full day was intentionally left open, giving them the flexibility to explore landmarks such as Osaka Castle, browse lively shopping districts, or simply enjoy the city's energetic pace.
