Japan rewards people who plan it properly.

The country is not difficult to travel in. The trains run on time to the minute, the signage is bilingual in most major stations, and the locals go out of their way to point you in the right direction. But the itinerary itself needs thinking through. The Shinkansen routes, the day trip timings, the order of the cities, and which nights go where. Get that wrong, and you spend the trip backtracking.

Prashant Mutkule and his partner flew out of Hyderabad on the 23rd of April on Singapore Airlines, with a layover at Changi before landing in Tokyo the following morning. Ten days. Four cities. One leisure day at the end before the return.

His review was direct.

"Well-organised tour. Really amazing experience with Thrillophilia. Mr Tushar and Mr Bhavik did an excellent job and helped us a lot with planning our tour. Will recommend the Thrillophilia platform for tour planning."

Two names. Tushar and Bhavik. Both are credited for the planning. That kind of specific mention comes from a trip where the people who built the 10-day Japan tour package actually thought about what the couple needed, not what fitted neatly into a standard Japan package.

Tokyo Opened With teamLab

Prashant explored Japan's peaceful streets and scenic landscapes with excitement

Day one was the arrival at Tokyo Haneda, the private airport transfer to the Shinjuku Washington Hotel, and the teamLab ticket in the evening.

teamLab is the digital art collective that turned a Tokyo warehouse into an experience that most visitors try to describe afterwards but cannot quite. Immersive projections. Rooms that respond to movement. Light that pools at your feet and ripples when you step into it. Prashant and his partner probably spent longer inside than they had planned for.

Day two was the Tokyo city tour. The major landmarks: Shibuya Crossing, the Shinjuku district, Asakusa and Senso-ji. A full day with lunch included and shared transfers between the stops. Tokyo on a proper sightseeing day gives you the city at ground level, which is a different experience from the aerial views most people come for.

Mount Fuji and the Move to Hakone

Day three was the Mt Fuji and Hakone tour with lunch included. The route goes up to the Fuji Five Lakes area for the Fuji views, then across into Hakone for the afternoon. Hakone is the onsen town that sits between Fuji and the Izu Peninsula, and the Hakone Kowakien Miyamafurin was the overnight stay.

A night at an onsen hotel after a full day in the mountains is exactly where that day should end.

Hiroshima Was the Weight in the Middle

The couple explored Japan's beautiful cityscapes and created unforgettable memories

Day four was the move from Hakone to Hiroshima. The Shinkansen handles that route in a few hours, and the APA Hiroshima Ekimae was the two-night base.

Day five was the Hiroshima Miyajima day tour. Miyajima Island sits in Hiroshima Bay and holds the famous Itsukushima Shrine with its torii gate standing in the water at high tide. The deer that walk freely through the island streets tend to surprise first-time visitors who were not warned about them.

Hiroshima itself carries a different weight from the rest of the Japan itinerary. The Peace Memorial Museum and the A-Bomb Dome are not easy places to visit, but they are the places that make the rest of the trip feel more grounded. Most travellers come out of the museum quieter than they went in.

Osaka, Kyoto and Nara Rounded the Trip Out

Prashant admired Japan's peaceful beauty at every stop

Day six was the transfer from Hiroshima to Osaka. Osaka Tokyu Rei was the base for the final three nights.

Day seven was the Kyoto and Nara day tour with lunch included. Kyoto's temples and the Fushimi Inari gate path in the morning, then Nara in the afternoon, where the Todai-ji temple holds the largest bronze Buddha in Japan. The entry ticket for Todai-ji was not included in the package, paid on the spot, and worth it.

Day eight was the walking venture of the Osaka tour package. Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, the castle grounds. Osaka at street level is the most relaxed of the three main cities, and the walking format lets the couple set their own pace through it.

Day nine was the leisure day. No transfers, no schedule. Their last evening in Japan.

Day ten was the departure. The return flight on Singapore Airlines SQ 619 left Osaka Kansai at 10:55 AM with a layover at Changi, landing back in Hyderabad at 21:45.

What Tushar and Bhavik from Thrillophilia Put Together

The Japan tour package was sequenced properly. Tokyo first, then Hakone as the overnight between Fuji and the western cities, then Hiroshima as the midpoint before Osaka. That order means the travellers move logically across the country rather than backtracking.

Private airport transfers at both ends. A visa is included in the package. Breakfast every morning and lunch on the three full tour days. Shared activity transfers with a common meeting point communicated clearly before each day.

The planning was done before the couple left Hyderabad. By the time they landed in Tokyo, all they had to do was show up.

That is the kind of Japan trip review that does not need any dressing up.
