First Impressions of Istanbul

Their day took them through some of Antalya's best-known attractions, including the beautiful Düden Waterfalls, the historic Hadrian's Gate, ancient Roman landmarks, and scenic viewpoints that showcased the city's unique blend of history and nature. After arriving and settling into their cave-style hotel, they headed out for an ATV ride through Love Valley just as the evening sun began painting the famous rock formations in shades of gold and orange. The unusual landscape, shaped over thousands of years, looked almost too surreal to be real.

The following day revealed an entirely different side of Cappadocia. They descended into the fascinating underground city of Derinkuyu, explored scenic valleys, visited the impressive Selime Monastery, and admired panoramic views across Pigeon Valley. Every stop offered something completely different, yet none of it felt rushed.

That slower pace made a lasting impression on the family.

"We always had enough time to enjoy each place properly instead of feeling like we had to rush to the next stop. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable."

By the end of their stay, Cappadocia had become much more than a destination on their itinerary. It was one of those places that quietly stays with you long after you've left.

Returning to Istanbul for the final night gave the family one last opportunity to revisit the city before flying home.
